This is a completed picture of N414J, my 1941 Piper J4A Cub Coupe, with a Continental 85 hp engine, no electrical system except a starter and a ground service receptacle in the instrument panel. (I found it's easier to hand prop though). It was completed fall of 2012, having last flown in 1975.
The J4 was only manufactured for two years before WWII and marketed as "the businessman's airplane" despite its 85 mph cruise speed. It was never brought out after the war. It is a two place side-by-side stick, with the same long Piper wing as a J-3. It meets the FAA's light sport requirements.
